Legoland Florida updates Cypress Gardens Attraction

Legoland Florida updates Cypress Gardens Attraction -
The Tampa Tribune is reporting that Legoland Florida will replace the older attraction, Cypress Gardens, in the state as of October, 2011. The new attraction will result in 1,000 jobs. Opening later at the site will be a full resort including a hotel and water park.

Fans of Cypress Gardens need not be fully disappointed, since officials say they will attempt to incorporate the existing water ski show and gardens into the overall plan for Legoland. Cypress Gardens opened in 1936 as the first amusement park in the state.
